Tiffany’s passion for healthcare was seeded through an unpleasant life experience at a healthcare facility. She was a patient in a local hospital at the time and her attending nurse lacked the bedside manner and friendly caring demeanor that is so critical to the patient’s well-being, their family, and friends. “I just knew there was a more caring and comforting way to help those in unfortunate healthcare situations. I knew I was destined to be a nurse at that point,” Tiffany said.
Tiffany excelled in all her healthcare education starting at Sinclair Community College, Dayton, Ohio, where she graduated with honors with an Associate degree in Arts/Liberal Arts and Sciences in 2009. Several years later she studied and graduated Cum Laude from the Kettering College of Healthcare in Dayton, Ohio, earning a Bachelor of Science & Nursing. She also attended (online) Samuel Merritt University, San Francisco, CA, and earned a Master of Science degree in Nursing during the time of the 2020 pandemic.
She worked as a Staff Nurse at the Kettering Health Network, a Nurse Practitioner at
First Team Medical Clinics, and as an Adjunct faculty member of the Ohio Institute of Allied Health in 2020 before joining the Lung Center of America in the spring of 2021.
Tiffany knew Julie Eversole, the Operations Manager at LCOA. Julie and Tiffany began the discussion of joining LCOA and, as they say, the rest is history. Tiffany knew of LCOA and the mission and values that they share with her of helping people. “That shared mission is the core reason I went into healthcare, to give back and help those who need a caring touch through healthcare,” Tiffany says.
Tiffany’s focus at LCOA is assisting those to help manage their COVID environment. It is ironic since Tiffany had COVID in 2020 and thus appreciates its ramifications and has a desire to help others navigate through these uncertain times.
Tiffany has been happily married for 25 years. They have three teenagers – two girls and one boy. All are a very active family with sports and numerous other activities. In her free time (which is not often) Tiffany enjoys reading, entertaining, outdoor activities, and family.
